Dealing at KCCU is different because you own it. That's what we mean by co-operative banking. Members have a stake in the organization and receive a share of the profits in dividends, reduced service costs, better rates on GICs and loans and mortgages, ethical treatment and respect. members have received over $2 Million in shared profits over the past 5 years. members decide on the level of profit sharing at each Annual Meeting. At KCCU, members have a say!

KCCU also takes great pride in supporting Community endeavours. Some examples include our donation of $100,000 in support of Kingston Community Health Centre's 2014 capital campaign, $61,000 to Muscular Dystrophy Canada in September of 2014 and $250,000 on our 50th Anniversary in 2007 to the KGH Surgical Sterilization Unit and support of many other worthwhile projects in the arts and other community charitable organizations.
