November 29, 2018 -  For the 39th straight year, KCCU had 100% participation from staff for the United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington campaign. This year, staff and director contributions - along with a corporate donation - totaled $7,804 to help make our community better. See the picture of Dave and Jason with the presentation cheque at the Touch Down Breakfast, held at the Ambassador Hotel and Conference Centre.

Nov 21, 2017 - Important NOTICE to Members - Credit Union Mastercard Program -- On January 1st, 2018 Kingston Community Credit Union will be introducing an exciting new family of both personal and corporate credit cards. Our new card offering will provide excellent options to our members, with cards that can specifically suit their individual credit card needs, both for personal use and for business. Please note that members may continue to use their existing Kingston Community Credit Union Mastercard card issued by CUETS Financial beyond January 1st, 2018.  If you have any questions regarding your current Mastercard you should contact the number on the back of your credit card. We will keep you informed and provide greater detail on our new credit card program as we get closer to launch.

Effective January 1st, we’ll be working with a new credit card provider.  If you carry a credit union MasterCard from CUETS Financial, below is some information you need to be aware of.  In the New Year, we’ll be moving to a new credit card partner, and that means we won’t be able to provide support or information on our website or in the branches for your CUETS card. Please watch for a letter from CUETS explaining this change and how they will continue to work with you effective January 1, 2018.

What will stay the same?  You can continue to use your CUETS MasterCard after January 1st*. Please ensure your address is current with CUETS so you will receive any notices from them. If you’ve set up Credit Union MasterCard in your bill payments, you’ll still be able to pay your bill online and in the branch. The terms of your agreement with CUETS will not change as a result of our move to a new provider.

What will change? Effective January 1st you won’t see any direct links to the CUETS or Choice Rewards site on our website. When you log in to the Choice Rewards site, you will no longer see our name or logo on your landing page.  Be sure to save the link before December 31st.

We will no longer offer CUETS cards in the branches. Unfortunately we won’t be able to provide member service on your existing card. Please contact the CUETS toll-free customer assistance number: CUETS Financial Card Services 1-800-561-7849.

Oct. 2, 2017 - KCCU Supports We Walk! --  Five staff from KCCU along with some friends, took part in the UHKF We Walk for your Comfort and Care on Saturday September 30th, 2017 at Lake Ontario Park. Between the money they raised, money raised with the rest of your KCCU staff and the two BBQs, a total of $2,082.41 was given to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation. Thank you to everyone who helped and donated. Your help will go along way to help this community.

Sept. 25, 2017Charity BBQ Part 2... -- KCCU will be holding a charity BBQ at Gardiners Road on Thursday September 28th, 2017 from 11 am to 2 pm in support of the U.H.K.F. We Walk for Your Comfort and Care. We will be offering hamburgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs with a bottle of water for a donation. All proceeds will go to the We Walk program. Come out and have lunch and support a great cause.

Sept. 21, 2017 - Charity BBQ at KGH a success! -- KCCU held a charity BBQ today on the front lawn of KGH in support of the U.H.K.F. We Walk for Your Comfort and Care. For a minimum $3 donation, KGH staff and those passing by could have a hamburger or veggie burger and a bottle of water. In total, we raised over $600. Thank you to everyone that came out to support this.

Aug 24, 3017 -- IMPORTANT REMINDER  - HAVE YOU MADE YOUR DECISION ABOUT YOUR SHARE REQUIREMENT? HAVE YOU RETURNED YOUR COMPLETED LETTER? Letters were sent out to all members in July about your share requirement and we require a response. Please return your letter to us ASAP. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you

Aug. 4, 2017 - ATTENTION - IMPORTANT INFORMATION  -- The host of our banking services is currently experiencing technical difficulties from Ontario to Atlantic Canada that is affecting service at all Credit Unions. Currently, we are not able to access your account in branch or through the ATM's. Online banking is still up and running so if you can, please use this to conduct your transactions until further notice.
