As of November 20, 2023 - 2-Step Verification (2SV) is mandatory for members using MemberDirect® Online Banking

2-Step Verification (2SV) is now available to all KCCU MemberDirect® online and mobile banking users and will offer you an additional layer of security to your online banking experience.  2-Step Verification is designed to better protect you against unauthorized access and misuse of your account if your credentials are compromised.

All members using MemberDirect® Online Banking were required to set up 2-Step Verification (2SV) by November 20, 2023.

Setting it up takes just a few minutes and we recommend that for your security, that you set it up as soon as possible.

 

2-Step Verification offers you:

Enhanced security – 2SV strengthens your secure login, making it more difficult for fraudsters to access your accounts. 2SV can help prevent phishing, cyber-attacks, identity theft and other types of fraud.

Convenience - Setup for 2SV is quick and easy. By simple verification of your identity through a personal device, you will boost access control and create a more secure login.

Peace of mind - Of course, one of the most important benefits of enabling 2SV is the confidence you’ll gain, knowing your online accounts have an extra layer of protection.

September 20, 2023 – Adding New Credit Cards on MemberDirect®

 

Setting up a bill payment in MemberDirect®? 

Please note that effective September 20th, 2023, any NEW credit cards added to your bill payment listing in MemberDirect® will automatically have a 48-hour waiting period until you are permitted to make a payment online.  Should you require assistance with an earlier payment, please visit or call our branches for assistance.

 


 

September 20, 2023 - Changes to your Dividend Savings Account

Please note that effective, September 20, 2023, there will no longer be any MemberDirect® online access permitted to the Dividend Savings Accounts.  The account will remain visible on MemberDirect® but transactions will not be permitted.  The intention of this account has always been and remains as a destination for dividends paid by the credit union. 

KCCU offers a variety of both chequing and savings accounts which will service your needs.
